If you're mid-life and have the travel bug, you'll be encouraged by this book to strike out on your own. It was fun reading about her solo adventures around the world--and don't miss her travel tips at the end. And if you didn't have the travel bug when you started reading, you will by the time you finish the book. I did receive an advance copy in return for my unbiased review.
I enjoyed this travelogue. Great title! Ms. Nussbaum's adventures and opinions of what she saw make for interesting reading. I loved that she included pictures and specific locations and experiences. I think I would've enjoyed the book more if she included more personal revelations...how her experiences changed her in some way.
